I have been fortunate to have known Jonathan Fidler for a number of years, having first met him whilst he was working directly for the Solicitors Regulation Authority. In those days I found him to be courteous, respectful and helpful. He assisted the firm greatly in ensuring that we were carrying out our professional responsibilities correctly. It was no surprise to me that Jonathan was subsequently involved in the setting up of Legal Compliance Services. As a consequence of his extensive knowledge of the workings of solicitors practices and all regulatory requirements whilst working for the SRA there is unlikely to be a more capable or experienced person to guide and assist firms with their regulatory and compliance issues moving forward. Jonathan is such a pleasant and knowledgeable person to deal with that I would have no hesitation in recommending him to any firm of solicitors which wishes to be guided on such issues. I have no doubt that we will continue to rely on him for many years to come.
